We are thrilled to announce that Karen Tobin, Family Law Partner, recently won the Munster Family Lawyer of the Year Award at the Irish Law Awards.
On 29th October 2021, the Irish Law Awards were held at the Clayton Burlington, Dublin. This is the 9th Year of the Irish Law Awards, and these awards aim to identify, honour, and publicise outstanding achievements, while also recognising those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the legal profession.
Karen is a Partner at CKT with over 25 years’ experience with the firm. Karen specialises in family law for both private and public clients. Karen is a firm believer in ‘outside the courtroom’ settlement, and is known for her efficiency, thoroughness and personable manner. Karen’s experience spans a wide range of family law matters including divorce, separation, surrogacy, custody and access disputes and maintenance and domestic violence disputes.
Speaking on the award win, Karen Tobin said, “I was humbled to receive such an award, having practised in family law for over 25 years, it is a great honour. Well done to all the award winners on the night.”
The Irish Law Awards, which take place each year, are judged by a panel of experts. Nominees are judged against a set criteria. There are two rounds of online judging followed by judging panel meetings to determine finalists and the ultimate category winners.
