CKT Strengthen Senior Team with Three Strategic Appointments

Comyn Kelleher Tobin solicitors has announced three strategic appointments following a year of growth. With offices in Cork and Dublin, the firm has appointed two Partners and a Marketing Manager to their 60 strong team of professionals.

Yvonne Joyce joins the firm’s Litigation practice with Sinead Fitzgerald promoted to Partner within the firm’s nationally recognised Childcare and Family Law practice. Ann Marie Callanan, previously of strategic communications consultancy, AM O’Sullivan PR, has been appointed to the newly created role of Marketing Manager.

Speaking on the appointments, Managing Partner at Comyn Kelleher Tobin, Debbie Moore said, “Following the firm’s expansion in Dublin earlier this year, CKT has one of the largest healthcare legal teams in Ireland. We wanted to embrace this momentum and continue to strengthen our offering to clients in our specialist areas of healthcare, childcare and family, insurance and litigation.”

Prior to joining CKT, Yvonne worked with a leading healthcare defence firm in Dublin. She has extensive experience in all aspects of defending clinical negligence claims and has been involved in many high value catastrophic injuries cases concerning complex issues of liability, causation and quantum. Yvonne also provides advice on all aspects of healthcare law including the duty of confidentiality and consent.

Sinead advises on all aspects of private family law. She advises state agencies such as the Child and Family Agency and the HSE on public childcare, mental health, wardship and judicial review. Sinead has vast practical experience in all areas of litigation and extensive advocacy skills. She focuses on providing practical, cost effective solutions to complex situations.

Ann Marie has held in-house and consultancy roles in Ireland, the UK and Australia developing and implementing integrated PR, marketing and communications campaigns for the corporate, healthcare, life sciences and not-for-profit sectors. She has a keen interest in how companies in traditional sectors can engage digital communication in their internal and external communication strategies.

CKT represent works with several public and private sector organisations such as the Health Service Executive, Tusla – the Child and Family Agency, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and educational institutions such as UCC.
