CKT delighted to celebrate Pride Month this June.

Our CSR Committee were delighted to celebrate Pride Month this June.

A highlight was welcoming Dr Fiachra Ó Súilleabháin, Lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy and Vice Head of School of Applied Social Studies at UCC, Board of Management at LINC and Board Member of EPIC to our Cork office on Tuesday where he delivered an engaging and inspiring presentation educating us on the history of the Pride movement and why it remains a protest movement.

He shared his deep insight on LGBTQIA issues in the areas of healthcare, social care, surrogacy, adoption and the struggles associated with same sex family and transgender healthcare.

Fiachra touched on so many important topics including meaningful workplace initiatives and ways we can strengthen and support our LGBTQIA colleagues and friends.  We can’t wait to welcome him back !
